No surprises: here is exactly what happens when you start a trial, renew, cancel or restore.
The free tier
Every installation gets one AI request per calendar day, shared by chat, page summaries, YouTube summaries, email help and image generation. You get the full result of your first AI action each day; another AI action the same day needs a subscription. The counter resets daily.
The 3-day trial
The Weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to $4.99 USD per week and renews every week.
Checkout
You choose a plan in Muse, which opens Dodo Payments checkout in a new tab. Dodo is the merchant of record and shows the exact amount and currency before you pay. Muse never sees your card number or CVC.
How access is unlocked
Your subscription is linked to a random install ID, not an account. Pro turns on only after Dodo confirms the subscription to our billing server; opening or closing checkout does not unlock it.
Canceling
Use the receipt or customer-portal link from Dodo Payments, or Muse's restore flow, which emails you that portal link. If you cancel at the end of a period, access continues until it ends. Uninstalling Muse does not cancel a subscription. See Terms of Use.
Restoring on another browser
Type the email you used at checkout in Muse. We check Dodo for an active subscription and link it to the new installation only after that check succeeds.
Refunds, invoices and taxes
Handled by Dodo Payments under their terms and applicable law. If a charge and the status in Muse do not match, email us with your checkout email. See Terms of Use.

Is Muse free?
Muse has a free tier with one AI request per calendar day. To keep using AI the same day, choose Weekly ($4.99 per week after a 3-day free trial), Monthly ($9.99 per month) or Yearly ($39.99 per year). See Pricing.
How many free AI requests do I get?
One per calendar day, shared across all AI features. Chat, a page summary, a YouTube summary, an email draft or an image each use that same request. It is not one free request per feature.
