The problem
Making a quick visual means opening another tool, another account and another tab.
How Muse helps
Type a prompt in Muse. Add style, mood, composition and color details for more control, or attach a reference image.
The outcome
An image you can download and use, created right next to your work.
How to generate an image with Muse
Works in the Muse side panel. Open it from the toolbar or with ⌘ + M.
Open image generation
Choose the image action in the side panel or "Generate an image" from the launcher.
Describe what you want
Subject, setting, style and light: "flat illustration of a desk with plants, morning light, soft blue palette".
Refine and download
Ask for changes in the same chat, or attach a reference image, then save the result.
Each generated image uses one AI request. Only attach reference images you have the right to use, follow the Terms of Use, and check that generated images are suitable before publishing.

Common questions
Can I use reference images?
Yes. Any reference image you attach is sent with your prompt to the Muse image endpoint only when you ask. See the Privacy Policy.
Where are my images kept?
Images are returned to your browser. A copy may stay in on-device chat history until you clear history or uninstall.
Is image generation included in the free tier?
Yes, but it shares the single daily free request with every other AI feature.
